She said come here, I have something to tell you. I leaned over with curiosity. She said, “I just found out that Jesus is God’s son. I did not know that. My father was a pastor and I am just now figuring this out.” This woman was eighty years old.

The last time I prayed she said that her father was killed, he was shot. She cried. I asked when did he die. She said when she was seventeen. I prayed for the spirit of trauma to leave and her heart to be healed.  This woman had been carrying the trauma of her fathers death all these years and was creating a barrier for her to truly see who God is.

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 NKJV
