I am sure many of you reading this have had children. And as you know, the labor pains can be pretty intense as you progress toward having your child. Jesus tells us that toward the end of the age, the last days are like birth pains. 

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.” Mathew 24:6-8

Birth pains are uncomfortable, painful and something that can’t be avoided. We see very clearly nations rising against nations. What we also see is that lawlessness and hate are abounding. We need to remain in Christ and love as He loves no matter what comes at us.  

“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,  but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” Mathew 24:13-14
