Joy in Tragedy?

I have a wooden plaque that was a gift and the quote on it states, “I will sing unto the LORD, because He hath dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:6” It causes me to reflect on the tragedies in my life and how God carried me through even when I was not completely aware of how He was working. He has dealt bountifully with me as I see where I am now; at peace with Him, my needs in every area are supplied, and I know Who holds the future.

Some of the tragedies, not all, I have experienced include: miscarriage of my third child, my father passing away when I had young children, divorce, widowhood and loss of church families along the way. But, the Lord has blessed me in many ways; a new family, new and renewed church families, a new ministry partner, and my physical and material needs met beyond comprehension.

God has dealt with me bountifully, and anyone who submits to Him fully with experience the same.
