Joy in the Spirit

So many are seeking peace, love, joy, and kindness.  Yet, it seems to elude them.   We have these things as we live and walk in the Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” Galatians 5:22-26

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, the day the disciples received the Promise of the Father, the Spirit.  You too can receive the promise of the Father.   If you desire a new life, a change in your life, ask Jesus to baptise you in the Spirit.  He is faithful to give you what you ask to glorify His Father (John 14:13-14).

“And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 13:52)
