Our attitudes can steer us toward the Lord or away from the Lord.   Webster’s dictionary says, “an attitude is a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically reflected in a person’s behavior.”  The Bible emphasises that in our relationships with one another, our attitudes should be of the same mind, we should be like-minded.    And this attitude is a work of the Holy Spirit and His word.  As we consume the word and are a doer of it, “we are made new in the attitude of our mind”  Hebrews 4:12

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,”  Romans 15:5 NIV
