It doesn’t make sense

It doesn’t make sense

You may have lost a loved one, a job or your health and you are saying it doesn’t make sense. Why? Why Lord?

The disciples more than likely had the same thoughts. It doesn’t make sense. Why would our master die on the cross?

As we look at our loss, we can’t help look at Jesus death and victory. What appears to be a loss, in reality, is a victory.

God makes all things new, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Cor 5:17.

What we see in scripture is that God works all things out for his good. How is this loss for my good? The disciples asked the same question… If I don’t go, then the Holy Spirit won’t come (John 16:7).

Look at areas in your life as you walk through this loss to see what God is doing. Ask God why. Ask God to Show you what His plan is for you, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jer 29:11
