We face many battles each day. Being led by the Holy Spirit means we not only wage war when the Spirit leads. But we also only go into battle when we are being led. A boxer only gets into the ring if he has trained, studied his opponent and asked his trainer if he is ready.

“So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” And the LORD said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.” 2 Samuel 5:19

Remember, not every battle is yours!

“This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 15:20

Listening and obeying God is the only way to win every battle.
