On St. Patrick’s day, I thought I would address the question, is there such a thing as luck?
Many have lucky rabbit’s feet, clothes, horseshoes, numbers, etc., and they allow these items to sway them in their decision making. In essence, they want good luck. An unrenewed person may rely on luck or chance. However, there is no such thing as luck. God has predestined all things for His purpose.
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love hepredestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,” Ephesians 1:4-8
A Christian relies upon God’s grace, favour, blessings.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
