At times hope can appear to be temporary or fixed in a particular time. We hope for healing; change of heart; change of circumstances; and, we do not see results. Consequently, we become discouraged.
The biblical definition of hope is to trust in, wait for, or expect something beneficial in the future.
Hope is not fixed, it extends into eternity and beyond time (Titus 1:2). As a result, the only way we can make it through and gain what we hope for is to embrace the love of the truth.
“and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” 2 Theo 2:10
