Instinct of waiting

What happens when we ask the question but don’t wait for the answer?

When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords? And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.  Luke 22:49

“They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel,”  Psalm 106:13

Obedience is broken and God is left to clean up.

^” But Jesus answered and said, “Permit even this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.”  Luke 22:51

“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;…”Psalm 37:7
