In the midst; how do you see clearly?

How do you see clearly when you are in the midst of a loss, tribulation, trauma or anguish?
For the wild animal to see if there is a threat and how to react, it stops in its tracks; assesses the situation; determines the danger; and responds.

As Christians, we are called to stop in our tracks! Stand firm! Ask God what is going on. Why am I experiencing this; why do I feel this way, etc. “Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8 NKJV

After consulting several counsellors, I was diagnosed with complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I could not trust my emotions or responses. However, I could trust God. Whenever I went into a fight or flight scenario, I would take the situation to God to sort it out. I knew He would show me clearly the truth.

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forever more.” Psalm 16:11
