The Lord wants you to love Him, “with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.” Mark 12:30
You may say how is this possible? Yes, it may be difficult. However, it is only difficult when we try to do it without God.
You see, the enemy is trying to do the opposite. He wants to impact your heart, soul, and mind also. He wants to give you a broken-heart through traumas and loss; destroy you through your thought processes; and, have you inflict damage to your soul through your will (i.e. Addictions, feeling rejection, shame or feeling unworthy).
As we submit and trust the Lord with all areas of our lives, the truth comes out.
“He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;” Isaiah 61:1
“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3
Jesus took all on the cross, “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24
