Silence

Silence gives consent. Can sin be born in silence? The heart knows. When we do nothing and in our hearts know that what is being done is wrong and do not speak up, are we not accomplices in the crime?

When Stephen was dragged out on the street to be stoned, Saul (Paul) did not say a word. The men “dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.” Acts 7:58

Silence gives consent.

“Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye uprightly, O ye sons of men?” Psalm 58:1
