If a Christian commits suicide, will they go to heaven?

Taking one’s life is a sin. “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Cor 6:19-20

If you are contemplating suicide, do not take a chance on losing your eternal salvation. If you have lost a loved one to suicide, God looks at the heart and knows the circumstances that led the individual to this act.

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29.

God revealed to me a story about a Jewish man who lost his son to suicide as a result of PTSD. He was so grieved and heartbroken, that God gave the man a vision of Jesus with his son. He immediately accepted Christ into his heart.
