You may have someone or various people who have hurt you deeply over the years, and you have struggled to forgive. When you don’t forgive, you are hurting yourself.

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Mathew 6:14-15

If you are not willing to forgive others, God is not going to forgive you. Forgiving is a decision.

“I will forgive,” Say this repeatedly until your heart can forgive.

Prayer: Lord, I ask that you heal my heart from the hurt and bind up the wounds. I forgive everyone who has hurt me, and I ask you, Lord, to forgive me. Take away any bitterness, resentment, anger, hate and cause me to hear your loving kindness. I pray all this in Jesus’ name.
