I messed up

I messed up

What happens when you mess up? You know the kind of mess up I am talking about….

You have Walked away from the Lord; gone your own way; hurt someone terribly; hurt yourself or committed in your mind an unpardonable sin

Many believe that God cannot forgive them; and they don’t even ask for forgiveness.

You may be carrying an undue burden. God wants you to cast your burdens upon him, (Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:7)

Jesus cried out to God on our behalf, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do….”. Luke‬ ‭23:34‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus forgave all sin on the cross, all has been forgiven when you accept Christ, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”  ,Acts‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If you have accepted Christ and continue to sin, repent and turn from your ways, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:7. Notice you have to change what you are doing; and your thought life.

“The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:8-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭NKJV‬
