There are many troubles in this world. So how do we manage life’s problems? First of all, face the fact that you cannot get over what you do not own. Denial is a powerful force.
“Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.” Mathew 26:33
Like Peter, many are in denial and they believe that in their own strength they can overcome, and then there are those who constantly think upon their issues.
“Part of every misery is, so to speak, the misery’s shadow or reflection: the fact that you don’t merely suffer but have to keep on thinking about the fact that you suffer. I not only live each endless day in grief, but live each day thinking about living each day in grief.” C. S Lewis
You do not need to keep suffering. Look in the mirror of God’s word and let the Lord show you the areas in your life that need to change. I remember a time in my life I refused to look in the mirror, to look at who I was or who I was becoming. When we refuse to see God’s truth we cannot be healed or overcome.
Many put bandaids on the problems in their life or expect someone else to fix them.
Cry out to the Lord….
“Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.” Psalm 25:17,
Make a decision to overcome the world’s problems, come to Jesus “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Mathew 11:28
