“When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” Luke 18:8

There appears to be a deficit of faith today. If you are wondering why Jesus would make a statement as He did and why I have declared there is a shortage of those with faith, then look at where faith is derived.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

Hearing the word of God produces faith. Many have not made a point to listen to what God has spoken, read His word?

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,” Galatians 5:22.

In order for fruit to grow, you must have all the growth requirements met. Adequate light (Jesus is the light, John 8:12) and water (John 4, ask for living water), proper conditions – nourishment. God’s word is your nourishment (John 6:26-27).
