When we are going through difficult times, we want to know when will it be over. It might be tough to hear God or even realize that He is working during these times. Look at David in Psalm 13, he cries out to the Lord and asks “How long, O’Lord Will you forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? …Having sorrow in my heart daily?…” Psalm 13:1, 2.

You may be asking the Lord the same question. Take heart, that God’s timing is perfect. He hears your cries and is already working to answer you. You may be going through something a little longer than you desire, but it is for your good and God’s glory. Trust God and His timing.

“But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:5-6
