How Important is Waiting?

In our modern day society, where everything has to be available to us in an instant, we don’t have a lot of practice waiting. There are benefits to waiting. But it is hard when we want to see instant solutions to problems that may have taken years to come to this place. And we want instant answers to questions. Answers may take time to develop.

But, waiting on God can bring the results that we need and want. In the book of Isaiah, it says that God is the only God who acts for us when we wait.

“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.”  Isaiah 64:4  NKJV
