We are warned over and over in scripture not to be deceived. “Let no one deceive you by any means…” 2 Thess 2:3

How do we know if we are being deceived? If you see pride or idolatry in yourself or others, beware.  

“The pride of your heart has deceived you” Obadiah 1:3 

 A person who is prideful or puts something before God can easily be deceived.   

 “Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them,” Deut 11:6 

Protect against deception by Keeping yourself humble. Give God glory in everything you do and say and put God first in your life.
