A loss can steal your joy. Job said, “My days are swifter than a runner; they fly away without a glimpse of joy.” Job 9:25

Now how do you get your joy back?

Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. ” Galatians 5:22-23. 

Jesus said, “Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:16-24

Pray and ask. God says that whatever you ask in Jesus name, He will give you so that your joy may be complete. We ask to bring glory to the Father, and in turn, we have the fullness of joy in Christ.
