How can Two be One?

“But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”                                                  Mark 10:6-9 NKJV

Only God can join two people together to be one flesh. When they are joined they are capable of producing one flesh. This new little creature has spiritual and physical attributes from both parents.

In today’s society, the coming together is not realized in the spiritual aspects of how that affects the two individuals involved; especially when it is done outside of marriage. Multiple partners can burden us down with all of the generational curses from each encounter. Marriage is not only a piece of paper, but a spiritual mystery and miracle. God meant it only for two people to last a lifetime.
