How can I go on? The pain may be great, but you can go on. You need to keep your focus on the Lord. I know, I have gone through it.
My husband was killed in the Navy Yard shooting; my father died of Lou Gehrig’s disease; my house burned down (lost my dogs in the fire); and, I have been healed of Complex PTSD (Trauma, in which I was told I would not be healed by several doctors); Lymes disease (organs shutting down); stroke (memory loss); Fibromyalgia (severe pain in the body continuously); arthritis; disc disease; osteoporosis; mitral valve prolapse; carpal tunnel; allergies; and, various other sicknesses/diseases/traumas (molestations). In addition, I have been healed of several addictions (alcohol and eating disorders (anorexic and bulimia)); and, compulsive tendencies.
The key was listening and obeying God every day. Step by step, He led me through His word (The Bible), where I was able to lay claim to His promises. I cried out, and He saved, healed and delivered me (Psalm 107).
Claim your inheritance (God’s word says it believe it):
“as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4
Isaiah 53:5, “by his wounds we are healed.” and “by whose stripes you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24.
Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Galatians 3:13, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (generational curses), having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).”
Renew your mind (Romans 12:2), think on good things (Phil 4:8).
Humble yourself and let the Lord teach you (1 Peter 5:6).
“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Mathew 21:22
