Honor Father and Mother 

There is only one commandment with promise. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.” (Exodus 20:12, NKJV)

I know there are some parents that may be hard to honor, as they never showed love because they never knew love. There may be a reason why God used the word honor rather than obey. If we honor our parents, we will have wisdom when to obey.

May we honor our mothers today, even if it means honoring them with forgiveness. God is always faithful to His promises.
