I had someone the other day tell me that they were going to invite “the presence of the Lord.” I started thinking about this comment. Since God is my father, part of my family, why would I have to invite Him. He should be ever present at all times; in my thoughts, desires and everything I do. I should constantly be looking for ways to show my love and be with Him. Then I realized, the times that I have had problems He was distant from my thoughts. I shouldn’t be inviting Him in; I should be keeping Him ever present.

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 NKJV
