His Beauty

“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17

As I meditated on His beauty, all kinds of wonderful thoughts came to mind. Then a thought crossed my mind, isn’t Christs death on the cross the most beautiful expression of love, beauty of the LORD. I remember one day running on the treadmill and the Lord said, “I love you and I will give you all the spiritual blessings in the Heavenlies. I was so overjoyed, then the Lord said, “you will also suffer as my son.” We want the blessings, but do we want to suffer as Christ? To be one with our Lord?

Can we say, “that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,” Phil 3:10
