Hiding out
As my girls and I are up in the mountains of West Va, hiding out for a bit to get some rest, my thoughts travel to Florida, where it is warm. Many of you know I have been called to Florida to rebuild/restore some old houses that have been neglected.
In the process of restoring, we have uncovered a lot of creatures. The most prominent is the Cockroach, or, as the Floridians call them, Palmetto bugs. No matter what you call them, you do not want them in your house. I have found that the Cockroach is one of these creatures that likes to hide and does not like the light like many people. To truly see what is in your house (temple of God), you must expose it to the light.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24
I have heard that things exposed to light will become light.
