Hiding

Millions of people hid during the Holocaust. Hid their identity in fear of persecution or worse yet death. Six million were killed during the Holocaust.

“For thus saith the Lord; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.” Jer 30:5-7

Many believe that they will be taken from this earth prior to the tribulation. As a result, they have not prepared to withstand the last days. And when I say withstand, I mean to stand firm in Christ (hid) and in His power. Jeremiah 30:7 says that you will be “saved out of it”, which means you will be going through it. You cannot be saved out of something unless you are in it.

Scripture tells us that perlious times will come, “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Tim 3:14-17

Hide yourself in Christ, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” Col 3:1-4
