Why should I become a Christian? You may have heard someone ask this question. Before you answer, consider where they are coming from.

I know before I became saved I thought Christians had no fun, were not in touch with reality and were miserable.

Jesus says we need to be ready to declare the reason for our hope. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;” 1 Peter 3:15

Our hope is that Jesus Christ is someday coming back to this world to setup His kingdom. “that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:7

Every day we need to purge out everything that is not of the Lord in our hearts. We need to show the world we are different. Reflect Christ’s love, peace and joy. They will know us by our love (John 13:35) and they will want what we have.
