Our elderly population, in our current secular society, may not appear to have significance, unless they have a lot of material wealth.

There is a reason why Hollywood spends thousands, maybe millions of dollars to look young. When a woman with gray hair and maybe a few extra pounds is introduced to a group, many assumptions may be made. “Does she even know how to work a computer? She has nothing to offer me concerning knowledge. I cannot communicate with someone in her generation.”

When one becomes “invisible” because they have reached a certain age can be a tragic thing. Loss of youth is another form of discrimination.

Christ is the best way to overcome this loss.
