- Identity loss
- Shame
- Guilt
- Fear
- Embarrassment
- Anxiety
- Anger and/or denial
In addition, you may experience stress as result of the financial adjustment.
Recommendations for dealing with your loss: Submit a Prayer Request
When you are in Pain…Know this…
- God is aware – You number my wanderings; put my tears in your bottle;…. Psalm 56:8 (NKJV)
- God Cares – The Lord is good. A stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who trust in Him. Nahum 1:7
- God wants to help you out – Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrew 4:16 (NKJV)
“Though our feelings come and go, God’s love for us does not.” C.S Lewis
At a time like this, don’t lose sight of how powerful prayer is….
O’ Lord I don’t understand why I lost my Job
I know that you are here to comfort me and guide me
Lead me in the way you want me to walk, for I trust in you
I know that you have something better for me
I trust that you will teach me something from this circumstance
Lift me up Lord to withstand this trial
Your word says to Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer…” Phil 4:6 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19
