Many people struggle with whether their loved one went to heaven or not. The Book of Job provides some clarity.

“One dies in his full strength, Being wholly at ease and secure; His pails are full of milk, And the marrow of his bones is moist. Another man dies in the bitterness of his soul, Never having eaten with pleasure. They lie down alike in the dust, And worms cover them.” Job 21:23-26

Society may say that the secure man went to heaven. Is this true? Do we know the state of a man’s heart when they die? Do we know if they are righteous? Job 21 says, “…They lie down alike..” However, scripture does tell us eternal life is for those who know (have an intimate relationship) Jesus and God the Father (John 17:5).

Have you accepted Christ into your life? Do you want to be saved today? You must believe in Jesus and confess with your mouth.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved..” Romans 10:9-10
