My mother-in-law just recently was taken to the hospital by ambulance. She had passed out and the doctors did not understand what was causing her blood pressure to fluctuate to extremes. The doctors decided to send her home with a heart monitor. The heart monitor was going to monitor the physical state of the heart over a period of time.

Did you know that we all have heart monitors? However, our heart monitor checks the state of our soul and spirit.

“The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.” Proverbs 10:11

Watch what comes out of your mouth because it reflects the heart, “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.” Mathew 15:18

Ask the Lord to heal your heart if what proceeds from it is not edifying. Lord heals the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1)

“Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.” Proverbs 21:23
