Have you received the Holy Spirit?
“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” Acts 19:2
Many today do not know there is a Holy Spirit. Churches are silent on the subject. Why? Could it be because “God’s Spirit continually reveals what human nature is like apart from His grace.” Oswald Chambers
Living without the Holy Spirit is like having a car without gas or having a phone without a charge, you have no power.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you
You can know the Holy Spirit by His names:
Spirit of truth and Helper (John 15:26)
Spirit of Glory (1 Peter 4:14)
Spirit of wisdom, Spirit of the Lord, Spirit of understanding, Spirit of Counsel, Spirit of might (power/strength), spirit of knowledge (Isaiah 11:2)
Eternal Spirit (Heb 9:14)
The Holy Spirit can come upon you such as it did with Jesus when He came out of the water or the laying on hands.
There are conditions to receiving the Holy Spirit, “Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38
Ask Jesus to baptize you today in the Holy Spirit.
