“In mercy the throne will be established;
And One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David,
Judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness.” Isaiah 16:5
How do we hasten righteousness for our King?
First of all, we must decide, “I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:17. We live by submitting to God and dying to self, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” John 12:24
Second, we need to sanctify ourselves, “Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?” 2 Peter 3:11-12
Last, let God work through you, “Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:9-10. God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34-35); what He did for Jeremiah, He will do for you if your heart is set on the Lord.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Mathew 24:14
