God desires us to live a life of joy; happily ever after. However, we are going to have bumps in the road.

Paul gives us good advice, “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” Phil 4:11

We need to “learn” to be content. We need to press into the situation (persevere), make a decision to have joy and proclaim it, “I will rejoice in the Lord” (Phil 4:4). Thanking and praising the Lord changes the atmosphere.
