Half / Whole Hearted

I have a confession to make. I wrote about releasing the offense when we forgive, and I was relating this to my Sunday school class as I told them about the car that made a u-turn in my yard, leaving ruts. As I related the story I realized I was still very upset about the situation. I really had not released this person when I forgave them. I still had emotion; it was not just a fact.

I had to go back and ask the Lord for a pure heart, so that I could release the offense. I needed to give my whole heart to God’s will of forgiveness.

“Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!” Psalm 119:2  NKJV
