“For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.” Ecclesiastes 1:18

We need to look at the world through the lens of God’s eyes, eyes of understanding. The world’s emptiness can bring grief to our souls.  

I pray that “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe,” Ephesians 1:18
