“I was watching; and the same horn (Anti-Christ) was making war against the saints (Christians), and prevailing against them,  until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.”  Daniel 7:21-22

There has been a lot of discussion in the Christian community on whether Christians will be here through the tribulation.    In the book of Daniel, we are told that Christians will be persecuted by the Anti-Christ until Christ comes, and then we see in Mathew 24:29-31, that after the tribulation, Jesus will appear and gather His elect.  So it sounds like we are going through it.

“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,  not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.  Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,  who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” 2 Thess 2:1-4
