God’s Word is Alive

Not only do we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, where Jesus came back to life after being crucified on the cross, but He left us with His living Word and the Holy Spirit to indwell us and guide us.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word [Jesus] was God.” John 1:1  NKJV

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul, and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

When we read the Bible and study it, the word is an active healing tool. Ask God to show you how the text you are reading applies to you. He will answer.

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:2-4
