Do you know what Jesus came to the Earth to do?

Jesus said, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me” (John 6:38). Should we not be doing the same?  

Jesus clearly defined His ministry in the Synagogue on the Sabbath, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19

Now you might be thinking; I can’t do this. You are correct; you cannot do this on your own. However, with God, all things are possible (Mathew 19:26).

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12
