Does God Want to Heal Me?

Jesus never refused someone healing when they asked for it. Sometimes He would examine their faith before he healed, especially if they were Gentiles.

In Matthew 15:22-28, a woman comes to him and pleads for Him to have mercy on her daughter who is demon-possessed. He said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

She worshiped Him and said, “Lord, help me!” His response was, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their master’s table.”

“Then Jesus answered and said to her, ‘O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.’ And her daughter was healed from that very hour.”

It appears we need to acknowledge Jesus as Lord, have faith He can heal us and bring a heart of worship to Him. Jesus loves us and wants us to be healed.
