God knows the Plan

When Frank (my late husband) and I wanted to have our first child, at age thirty, we instantly became pregnant. We planned our life out. We would wait six years after we married to have children. This allowed us to travel and enjoy each other before children. We were excited that our plan was working out as we designed it.

However, we lost our first child during the second trimester. Our expectations and hopes were crushed. We tried and tried to have another child for the next year. It wasn’t until we put everything in God’s hands did we become pregnant again and have our first child.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God is with us every step of the way if we realize it or not.

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.””
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We need to trust Him with the plan He has established.
