God is gathering His church back to Himself. He is expecting the bride to be ready for His Son.
He saves, delivers, heals, restores, guards, protects, and comforts. He is our all and all.
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.” Revelation 19:7
We are to make ourselves ready.
- “give ourselves continually to prayer,” Acts 6:4
- “cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Cor 7:1
- “…we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead” 2 Cor 1:9
- Humble yourself, “We should take on the example of Christ, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Phil 2:8
- “.. put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to
fulfill its lusts.” Romans 13:14 - “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;” Col 3:12
Jesus prayed for us, ” And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:26
