God Hates!

What? Yes, that is correct; the Bible says that God hates. When I saw this, I said this can’t be. My mom always told us never to hate. She said hate is a four-letter word. We were not allowed to use the word or feel hate. We are to love.

So imagine my surprise when God says He hates.
These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6:16-19

God hates evil, and we are to hate evil, the sin, not the person who commits the sin. If you felt a little uneasy as you read the areas that God hates, then repent and ask God to forgive you. He loves You so much and doesn’t want any evil to overtake you.
