God’s desire to heal us is far greater than our desire to be healed. We want a patch, a quick fix. God wants total restoration.

If we look at what Jesus did on the cross (Isaiah 53), we can see the completeness of the restoration.

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Cor 5:21

“God will restore you. Trust Him, He is able, “…after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10
