Goals for the New Year

We all set goals.  Are our goals in line with God’s will?

Purify yourself, “beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Cor 7:1

” conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.”   2 Cor 1:12

“beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” Jude 1:20-21

“…each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.”  Romans 14:12.  As a result, our desires and goals should be a reflection of His.

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”  Mathew 6:10.

Every goal should be to bring glory to God (Isaiah 60:2).
