Many today follow the principle of giving 10% of their income to the Church. This requirement was under the old covenant of the law. Nowhere in the New Testament does God demand us to give 10% of our income. However, we do see blessings that come from giving.

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;” Malachi 3:10-11

God says, test me. He is challenging us to open our hearts to give where He desires. He knows the actual needs of His house. When we do this, God not only restores what we have given, but His blessings will overtake us, and we will continue to produce, and what we bring forth will be protected. We can never outgive God.

Giving is not inclusive of money…. Give your heart today to the Lord to overflow to others.
