Get the Swiffer Out of the Closet

Swiffer is a brand name for a duster. If our Bibles are dusty, we need to get the Swiffer out and clean it up. Many of us have multiple Bibles; many translations or several in different sizes. But, if you only have one, is it dusty?

God’s word is food. We manage to eat everyday if food is available, knowing that we cannot live without it. Some people store food for the future by canning, freezing, drying, fermenting, or whatever the process, it is done in preparation for a future need.

How much more should we store up God’s word in our hearts for future preparation! What would happen if we no longer had access to a Bible? Would we be able to sustain our spiritual lives on the spiritual food we have stored? It is a critical time for us to soak in God’s word to have that living water in a time of drought.
